Here I have an example 8 hour timeline based on a first look happening prior to the wedding day. Use it as a guide! You can move things around and change anything you need to – it’s your day, it should happen the way you’re dreaming for it to! This timeline shows you the order of certain photographs throughout your day, how much time you may want to set aside for each event, and when moments such as speeches usually happen.

Your photographer or day of coordinator may have plans to build your timeline for you as you get closer to your day, so check with them if you have questions!

• 11:30-12am Detail Photographs
• 12:00-12:30 Bride gets into dress / Getting ready photos
• 12:30pm Bride first look w/ father
• 12:45-1:15pm Bride & Groom first look + portraits
• 1:15-2:15pm Bridal Party photos
• 2:15pm Bridal party hides away & relaxes
• 2:50pm Bridal party lines up for ceremony
• 3:00-3:30pm Ceremony
• 3:30-4:15pm Family photographs
• 3:30-4:45pm Cocktail Hour
