Let's freeze your moments
 in time....

Hey there, my name is Wilson and welcome to my little corner of the world. Most days you can find me at home (I'm a solid introvert at heart, but most wouldn't guess that). I’m a retired police officer turned wedding photographer. I was a cop for eight and a half years and I wouldn't change that chapter of my life for anything, but I began to feel that God no longer wanted me there. I spent years praying for a new path, a way to work from home, for freedom, and then wedding photography fell into my lap.  Not even a month after photographing my first wedding I resigned from my policing job and three months later I was officially done. I jumped into this entrepreneur world and haven't looked back. Outside of work I listen to a ton of podcasts, love to cook and bake, and spend a lot of time spoiling my niece and nephew. I dream of being a mom more than anything in this world and often schedule my day around the gym. Anyways, welcome to my page, grateful to have you here, and I can't wait to connect!

Here's what makes me different

I've learned in the very short time that I've been photographing weddings that I thrive when given the opportunity to photograph a day as it truly happens. I love being in a wedding environment that naturally happens and being given the permission to photograph those authentic, unposed moments. I don't thrive when trying to recreate a Pinterest board or working in a jam packed timeline that keeps me running from place to place. I don't mean to say that I won't work hard on your day, but creativity requires space. Space to see emotion happen. To watch important moments unfold and capture that story. Space to dream up a vision and make it come to life.

I work best with couples who prioritize time with their people over a long list of photographs. Those who want a little less perfect and a lot more candid. I will always help my couples create beautiful portraits and give support in moments when prompting them is needed (please don't think I'll leave you hanging!). But, your story is different and authentic, and your photographs should tell that story as it is. When you look through your wedding gallery, I want it to be as if you're standing in the corner of each room watching the day unfold in frames with a mixture of dreamy, incredible wedding portraits. I want your gallery to be filled with romantic, timeless, perfectly imperfect moments. Enjoy your day and trust me to capture it.
